Excel Swim School Goals

The Excel Swim School is developed to introduce first time swimmers to a fun and positive environment, while at the same time working with experienced swimmers in developing and improving stroke technique. The Swim School is a non-competitive environment where the teacher's goal is to empower the swimmer to improve to the best of their ability.

Excel Swim School is managed by Danny Dye, the head Boys and Girls Swimming Coach at Palo Alto High School

• over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience in swimming
• has won 8 League Championships and 1 CCS Titile at Palo Alto
• In his 4 years, athletes have acheived All American standards 42 times, while setting or resetting 19 school records.

The teachers for Excel are members of the Palo Alto High School Swim Team. All Teachers are certified for CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding by Red Cross.
